Plato Strategies; leadershi coach, Penland, NC

Where planning, economic development, and the arts intersect.

Recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all solution, Geraldine Plato established Plato Strategies in 2010 by assembling a network of veteran rural and urban planners, trained facilitators, creative community specialists, and researchers each of whom is equally passionate about making their communities more desirable places to live.

Plato Strategies is committed to strengthening the fabric of communities, organizations, and groups by offering thoughtful guidance, fresh eyes, and a broad range of services.

We work with a diverse group of clients that range from corporations to small and mid-sized towns to cultural and non-profit organizations

Curiosity and a creative approach to problem-solving set us apart. We empower groups, organizations, and those in leadership positions to recognize and strengthen their unique identity.

Recent clients include: Center for Rural Health Innovation; GE Aviation; AppHealth Care; Spruce Pine Potter's Market; NC Arts Council

I want you to know how happy and grateful I am for your leadership of our retreat. Seldom have I been in a full day work session where so much energy and joy was sustained through to the end of the day. You helped us to get an impressive lot of work done in a way that utilized everyone's strengths and confirmed our regard and fondness for one another. A great foundation for our group's continued work together!

Thanks for helping us — you are one of the best facilitators I have ever worked with and I have worked with a lot of facilitators. So happy that Destination Downtown Edenton found you.
